Got an estimate. Told booking into months later without being prompted. Toldlater again unprompted cant work for anyone unless its with EXCLUSIVE contract with carpet stores due to lack of trained installers. Teased for a job, then tet down and really unprofessional. They assume you want their business...but before getting there they've let you down twice. Person also enjoyed gossip about carpet store that they work exclusively with - ...kept asking for details. Funny? no.
Zak and Sean who installed our carpets were outstanding. They arrived early, were prepared for their work and very courteous and professional. They asked to walk-through and show what work was needed. They asked questions about our expectations and showed a particular interest in providing the best possible outcome. We felt we were in good hands right from the start. This proved to be true as they went about their work. At one point Zak pointed out that one of the pieces of carpet we had intended to use was damaged and he made good suggestions that helped us solve the problem. Both Zak and Sean were never in a rush to finish the job. They seemed more interested in the final result. And it turned out beautifully, especially their detailed work on the stairs which was the best we'd seen of the three times we'd had that carpet replaced before. They paid special attention to door transitions and also making sure the carpet was properly stretched. Not only did Zak and Sean do excellent work, but they had a happy attitude as they did it. They should be commended for their whole approach to the project. The next time we need carpet installed they will be the first ones we call. We should add that the staff at Windmill Flooring handled all our questions, the quote and the installation booking with the same care and integrity. We called Windmill because we had the same excellent experience with the company a couple of years ago. Peter Kearns did an absolutely fantastic job - professional, clean, prompt, organized, communicative, and did finished the job above and exceeding the expectations. Will be using Windmill flooring and working with Pete again in the future on all our upcoming projects.
Not Run Of The MillPitt MeadowsThe products and installation were made in conjunction with End of the Roll, which was a very good intermediary (good value and good service). Cam was our installer from Windmill Flooring, and he expended concerted energies to do a very professional, meticulous job. He was also down to earth and personable. Cam also made considerable efforts to be accommodating when our condo's elevator became dysfunctional. He communicated well and took no offense to questions. He was upfront about possibilities/ adjustments. He worked well around the disheveled conditions in the condo's tight spaces. He also made effective use of his time. The central reception and manager got a little frustrated trying to do some juggling due to the elevator situation, but to their credit, they did try to do whatever they could do, considering having a busy plate of bookings. They also were very good at communications and being professional.
Windmill recently installed our new vinyl plank flooring, carpet, and casings. Excellent job all around. Price was fair, no unexpected surprises. Would recommend
I was put in touch with Windmill Flooring by End of the Roll in Abbotsford. Over the past 3 days, Jessy and his team have been installing new laminate flooring in my 17 year old condo. I am so incredibly impressed with the service I received from these 3 young men. They worked hard, did a quality job, and kept me informed on their progress each day.
